Session Summary:

Provide a basic overview of SQL queries and related database concepts. The objective is to help those that are new to SQL or use it infrequently to get a better understanding of how to construct a query and how Oracle is processing a query and returning results. This learning session should help users increase their confidence that their queries are going to return accurate results in a timely manner.

Target Audience:

Business analysts or application users that write reports or ad hoc queries from time to time.

About the Speaker:

Miguel Martinez has focused on Oracle applications development and systems analysis for the past 14 years. His background includes supporting Xerox with their Oracle applications as a Developer/BSA, and eventually Delivery Manager, beginning in 2010. He has been a valued expert as part of the OnPlan team since 2011, helping customers get over the hurdles related to converting complex business requirements into suitable, efficient solutions in a timely manner.
